General Functionality #
- It is possible to enable failover for up to 4 WAN links, which are monitored based on latency and packet loss to public DNS servers.
- Failover operates in a sequential order: if the primary link fails, the secondary takes over, and so on.
Configuration Requirements #
- Each WAN link must be pre-configured on the Mikrotik and have an active gateway.
- Manual failover configurations should be removed to avoid conflicts.
- Each link must be configured with a corresponding distance before activation in the platform.
- Ensure that all links have internet access before activation.
Update and Support #
- Failover changes can take up to 5 minutes to be fully applied.
- In case of issues, please contact support and provide screenshots of the relevant settings for troubleshooting.
